Pair of solid brass scalloped Rococo-style candle sconces

A striking pair of solid brass candle sconces in the Rococo Revival style. They feature a fanned shell-style backplate with fluted lines, scrolling C-shaped arms and a scooping candleholder arm. Almost certainly French and antique (1880-1920). The brass is a lovely rich, warm tone and not overly shiny, though they could be polished if you prefer. They are ready to be wall-hung by the top. 

They measure 18cm from the top to the bottom of the candleholder arm, and 9cm at their widest part.
