A really special, large pair of solid brass candle sconces shaped like scallop shells with a fluted texture that catches the candlelight beautifully. These likely date to the early 20th Century, and are typical of the French Rococo style. They are ready to hang and in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with their age. There is a faint patina which I can leave or polish for you depending on your preferences.
These are rare and very much in-demand, a timeless piece that will be a true heirloom.
Each shell measures approximately 27cm high and 23cm wide.
